Maria begins as lengths of soft double gauze, cut in your chosen size and length before being gathered into her loose, flowing shape.

The neckline and wonderfully full sleeves are carefully gathered with soft elastic before the dress is finished, checked and pressed.

100% cotton double gauze

Soft, breathable and naturally textured, double gauze is made from two fine layers of cotton joined together to create a beautifully light, slightly crinkled cloth.

It’s this softness that gives Maria her relaxed character, comfortable against the skin, with enough volume to make those generous sleeves rather lovely.

The elastic is made from 70% organic cotton and 30% natural rubber.

Maria is intentionally loose and unfitted through the body, with no fitted waistband.

Choose your usual Vetch & Clover size for her relaxed silhouette. The elasticated neckline and cuffs provide gentle flexibility without restricting movement.

Available in sizes 2XS–4XL, with custom sizing available.

Your Maria doesn’t exist yet. Once your order reaches its turn, your cotton will be cut in your chosen size and length before being sewn, gathered, finished and checked in Devon.

When she’s ready, she’ll be carefully wrapped and sent on her way to you.
