Light, romantic and wonderfully versatile, the Semi-Sheer Chemise was inspired by the simple undergarments of historical dress and reimagined as something beautiful enough to be seen.

Your chemise begins as lengths of fine cotton, cut in your chosen size and length before being gathered into its wonderfully loose shape.

The neckline is finished with an adjustable drawstring, while the sleeves are gathered into their soft frilled cuffs. Once complete, your chemise is checked, pressed and prepared to leave our studio.

100% cotton

Fine, lightweight and deliberately semi-sheer, this cotton was chosen for its beautiful drape and airy feel.

Its lightness allows the chemise to fall softly around the body and makes it particularly lovely for layering beneath stays and other garments.

The cuffs are finished with elastic made from 70% organic cotton and 30% natural rubber.

Designed to fit loosely, the Chemise falls freely from the neckline rather than closely following the body.

The gathered neckline can be adjusted with its drawstring and worn higher or opened more widely around the shoulders.

Made for you in approximately 3–4 weeks.

Your chemise doesn't exist yet. Once your order reaches its turn, the cotton will be cut in your chosen size and length before being sewn, gathered, finished and checked in our Devon studio.

When it's ready, we'll wrap it carefully and send it on its way to you.
