What is your return policy?

Our return policy depends on your order.

If the order is customised, whether that be sizing or colour and stitching preferences, then returns will not be accepted.

If however you've ordered a  garment that isn't customised, for example: the Maria Dress in standard sizing, then you may return it through our returns form

What are the payment options?

.Our online shop provides the facility to pay easily and securely. We accept most major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay and payment via PayPal.

If you wish to order and pay by any other means such as BACS, personal cheque or postal order please contact us for instructions.

Who makes these made to order garments?

Aurora Fay, designs and makes up your items with the help of the lovely Darrell, whom makes up the Best Selling Peasant Blouse & Gathered Cotton Skirt orders.

Do you ship to the EU and Northern Ireland?

At this time, we are unable to ship physical items to the EU or Northern Ireland.

We appreciate our international customers so much, and we hope one day to be able to offer shipping again, but for now, orders can only be delivered to the UK, USA via our Website & Canada, Australia and New Zealand via our Etsy

Where can I get the full 18th Century inspired ensemble?

We now have a full collection of pieces to mix and match to create your dream Highland 18th Century inspired outfit. We even do everything in Ivory which has been very popular with History Bounding Brides 🤍

How to get the look:

A shift/chemise as a base layer.

A set of stays, with or without tabs.

A bum roll to get that 18th Century Silhouette.

2 Gathered Cotton Skirts, one as a petticoat and the other as a main skirt.

How do I measure myself correctly for the made-to-measure items?

Measurements are easy to take, all you need is a measuring tape and maybe a helping hand Find out more here

 What does it mean when I read reversible?

Reversible here means that the item has two sides, meaning you get 2 designs in one garment! As there are two sides that means you can choose 2 different fabric design options to wear. Options for fabrics can be found on our Customisation page!
