Claire Bodice
Inspired by the hit Starz TV show Outlander’s beautiful 18th Century fashion this Claire Bodice was made to bring the 18th century into the modern world or take you from the modern world into the 18th Century!
With the bodice you'll recieve a stomacher (boned piece that sits behind the lacing) and 2 metres of ribbon/cotton cord will be included to finish the whole look. You may choose the ribbon colour. (See images)
These are made with a negative ease of 1 inch. This allows the garment to fit snuggly when laced up.
This Bodice is designed to have a lacing gap, where the stomacher will sit, a 3 inch gap at the bust which tapers down to 1-2 inches at the waist. This creates a beautiful early-mid century feature.
If you’d prefer to have a looser fit, please let us know so we can adjust the ease.

Made from a gorgeous linen this bodice is available in natural and timeless colours with a choice of eyelet colours (see images)
This Bodice is designed to have a 3 inch gap at the bust and a 1-2 inch gap at the waist. This creates a beautiful early-mid century feature.
Light synthetic whale-boning has been added to give the lacing channels more structure.
With this lace up bodice you can dress up or down or in a complete Outlander inspired ensemble. Soon you'll be able to find the whole outfit at Vetch and Clover, undergarments and all!
